After my interview on the Montana Today morning News yesterday, we received a lot of emails and comments and some great feedback. But one stood out above them all for sure.

As you can see the crew has been really busy over the last few months. We apologize about not getting new blogs on the site in a timely manner. With that said, I just returned from the ATA show in Indianapolis. The show was great! I was able to talk to quite a few of our sponsors and I filmed about an hour of film on some of them and their new products for 2011. I got to meet up with Hoyt, Realtree, Winners Choice, Hecs, Lakewood Products, Rinehart, Trophy Taker, Badlands, Carbon Express, Gorilla Treestands, Black Gold Sights, and Tight Spot Quivers. As you can see it was a busy show. I am proud to announce Gorilla as a new sponsor for Silent Draw Outdoors. We have something really cool we will be working on together so when we get our first prototype I will let you all in on what it is. I also talked to the Sportsman’s Channel about airing our show on their network. If all works out, we may be on there 1st quarter of 2012.
Well I am extremely happy! I just received my Utah archery mule deer license as well as my Wyoming antelope license. So that mean road trips. But the best thing about it all, is that my father also drew his Wyoming antelope tag as well. This will be the first time my father and I will get to hunt together in years. I think I am more excited about seeing him put the hammer down on a big buck then trying to harvest one for myself. So in August and mid September be looking for the Silent Draw Outdoor dodge in those states!

We are adding a few new pro staffers to the crew. I am excited to have these 3 guys as part of the team. The first is a father/son team. I have known Scott Connole for years. Scott and his son Anthony are great hunters but even better people. I look forward to hunting with them this upcoming season. The other pro staffer is my close friend Larry Anderson. Larry and I have hunted together for the past 15 years or so. He is as close to family as you can get. Larry and I have shared many days in the woods together hunting elk to big tom mountain lions. I want to welcome all three. There bios and pictures should be on the site very soon. Keep an eye out for them.
Well I just got back from the SHOT show and it was great. My wife Karen and I had a ball. I made a few good connections and I wrapped up some major sponsors there. Realtree is now on board! I am so excited about it I honestly want to scream. I believe in using only the best companies on the market and Realtree is one of those companies. I am truly honored that they are on board with Silent Draw Outdoors. There are several more companies, but we are still talking about the level of sponsorship. The minute I know, I will let everyone know. My wife was a trooper. She shot video for me and I can honestly say, the video is going to be great. She did a wonderful job and I am proud of her. I got to see my good friend John Hafner and his wife while there. John showed me the pictures he took of me that made the most current Cabela’s Outfitter Journal magazine. So as you can see, Karen and I had a great time.
Well I got back into town from the ATA show. It was awesome. I was able to talk to a lot of hunting companies and we picked up several new sponsors. Some of the sponsors are Winners Choice Bow Strings, Lakewood Products, Black Gold, Silver Scent, Bohning Archery, and Tight Spot Quivers. I also have 2 or 3 major companies in the hunting industry that we are still talking too. I will let you all know the minute we sign a contract with them. I am off to the SHOT show in Las Vegas tomorrow. Long 2 weeks but it will be way worth it. I will be meeting with Bad Boy Buggies along with a few more companies while there for sponsorship. I will also be shooting a SHOT show video for all to see. I did this for the ATA show and I can not wait for you all to see it.
